TFP Network Expands Its Impact in Audio Storytelling Following Invitation to Audacy Creator Lab

Los Angeles, CA — TFP Network, short for Tangible Films Presents Podcast Network, the
independent Black woman-owned podcast network founded by producer, writer, and creator
Tanisha Quilter-Williams, continues to build momentum as a rising force in premium audio
storytelling. Known for cinematic fiction podcasts and culturally driven audio experiences
centered around authentic, underrepresented voices, the network has officially been invited to
participate in the prestigious Audacy Creator Lab—an initiative designed to support and
spotlight emerging creators shaping the future of podcasting.

The invitation marks another major milestone for Quilter-Williams and TFP Network, which has
steadily carved out a unique lane in independent audio entertainment through emotionally
resonant storytelling, bold concepts, and narratives that particularly center Black women and
grown audiences often overlooked in mainstream media.
“At TFP Network, we believe storytelling should entertain, heal, inspire, and reflect the realities
of people who don’t always see themselves represented with nuance and authenticity,” says
founder Tanisha Quilter-Williams. “Being recognized by Audacy Creator Lab is both an honor
and a reminder that independent creators are helping redefine what podcast storytelling can
look like.”

At the center of the network’s success is its flagship fiction podcast, Forties AF, a
drama-comedy following three forty-something women navigating friendship, reinvention, career
challenges, relationships, and self-discovery. Since its debut, the series has amassed more than
250,000 downloads, charted in Apple Podcasts’ Top 200 Fiction category, earned a nomination
for “Best Fiction Podcast” by the Podcast Awards – People’s Choice, and was selected for
Gotham Pitch Week in 2021.

Building on that success, TFP Network has expanded its original programming slate to include
UnfiltHER, a culturally relevant non-fiction podcast exploring topics impacting Black women
today, as well as the upcoming faith-based limited series Ready to Mingle: A Faith-Filled
Experience. The highly anticipated dramedy follows three lifelong friends who swap their annual
girls’ getaway for a Christian singles retreat, only to find themselves confronting hidden desires,
emotional healing, faith, and sisterhood in unexpected ways.

As the network continues to grow, TFP Network remains committed to amplifying diverse voices,
developing original IP for future screen adaptation, and creating opportunities for emerging
creators through upcoming initiatives such as the TFP Short Podcast Contest.
With a growing catalog of scripted fiction, pod documentaries, and culturally driven
conversations, TFP Network is proving that independent audio storytelling can be both impactful
and industry-shifting.
