Tanisha Quilter-Williams is the founder and executive producer of Tangible Films Presents and TFP Network, an independent media and entertainment company creating premium podcast storytelling and original IP for grown, evolving women of color.
With more than two decades of experience in entertainment and media, Tanisha built her career behind the scenes at companies including ICM, William Morris Agency, Inside Edition, E! Entertainment, and Us Weekly. Her background in Hollywood, combined with her passion for screenwriting, ultimately led her to explore audio as a new way to develop and produce original stories.
In 2021, Tanisha transformed her original drama-comedy pilot, Forties AF, into a scripted fiction podcast. The series has since generated more than 250,000 downloads, earned a People's Choice Podcast Awards nomination for Best Fiction Podcast, and was selected for Gotham Pitch Week.
She is also the creator and producer of Ready to Mingle, a faith-based scripted dramedy about three longtime friends navigating love, loss, friendship, and faith while attending a Christian singles retreat.
Today, through TFP Network, Tanisha is building a growing slate of fiction podcasts, podfilms, documentaries, and original programming centered on culturally relevant storytelling. Her work focuses particularly on stories that allow Black women and other women of color to be seen in their fullness—funny, complicated, ambitious, faithful, flawed, romantic, and continually evolving.
Beyond podcasting, Tangible Films Presents develops original intellectual property across film, television, publishing, and digital media, with an emphasis on creating stories that have the potential to move from script to sound to screen.
